ABOUT
Chinese Medicine
In 3000 BC Chinese Medicine theory and practice began to develop. It is an holistic medicine that views the body intrinsically linked with nature. An individual's health is determined by the balance of complex interrelated systems inside and outside the body. When imbalances between these systems occur, the body becomes ill. Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism have influenced the development and philosophy of the medicine.
Chinese Medicine uses acupuncture, moxibustion and/or herbs to treat an imbalance such as but not limited to: acute and chronic pain, anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, digestive disorders, infertility, fibroids, ovarian cysts, irregular menstrual cycles, erectile dysfunction, allergies, asthma, the common cold, insomnia, fatigue, stress and side effects from medication, radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.
