Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine


New patient appointments include an interview covering the patient’s health history with special attention paid to the chief concerns. A personalized acupuncture treatment is created for each patient based on their symptoms and health history. Additional techniques like cupping, aroma therapy, sound therapy, moxibustion may be included.

The number and frequency of follow-up treatments is based on the severity and history of the condition, which will be explained as part of the treatment plan and may include herbs and nutritional recommendations. Allow two hours for your initial visit to Peony. Follow up treatments last 1-1.5 hours.

Peony bills insurance for in-network and out-of-network plans and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) car insurance plans.

 In-network provider status is with:
 Premera, Lifewise, Aetna, Cigna and Coordinated Care.
