Unshakable Determination

A Winter Retreat

Rest, replenish, and align with your purpose in the new year.

Winter offers the space to slow down and make room for you.

Unshakable Determination is a winter retreat—a sacred space to care for yourself. Here you set aside the modern noise of texts, emails, and scrolling to be with your body and your breath, to listen to what inspires you and where you want to put your attention in the new year.

The retreat is grounded in Chinese medicine and in this tradition the kidneys belong to winter. Winter is like the bottom of the ocean—dark, silent, and still. There the octopus lives: steady and adaptive, a deep reserve of will and resilience floating inside salty black water.

As a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, I will guide you through self-care rituals along the kidney channel and into your body’s ocean. Each ritual draws you closer to your inner life and imagination. You’ll rest, restore, and gather energy, and find that you, like the octopus, are resilient and unwavering.

The retreat runs January 31 through February 21 and includes four live Sunday sessions, guided videos, and a ritual kit.

Three Steps to Your Winter Ritual

A ritual kit arrives at your door. At home, you sink your feet into warm herbal water, breathe in essential oil, and rest while my voice guides you.

Prepare. Open your ritual kit, meet the herbs, and warm up with a guided introduction to the kidney channel.

Practice the Rituals. Each week, choose from five rituals: herbal foot soak, meditation, acupressure with essential oils, restorative breathing, and affirmations.

Gather Live. Meet with Paige on Zoom each Sunday to review the week’s rituals and reflect together.

Your Four-Week Journey

Over four weeks, we travel the kidney channel from the water well of your body to the ocean, from the unknown into the depths of your inner life, where your steady power gathers.

Live rituals meet on Zoom, Sundays from 1:00 to 2:30pm PT.

Gushing Spring · January 31

We begin at the bottom of the foot, the water well of your body—a place that nourishes and cannot be exhausted. This week you rest and refill.

Great Mountain Stream · February 7

At the stream there is a spark, and the current picks up momentum. Here source qì enters the kidney channel, transforming the flow into a rapid, life-giving river. This week you connect to your flow of energy and find the spark of what you want to cultivate this winter.

Yin Valley · February 14

Like an estuary, at your knee’s crease, the river meets the ocean. We’ll explore feeling our bodies as the ocean’s depths and light. This week you feel your power gather, and with it the power to manifest your light.

Integration · February 21

We bring together all that we’ve learned into one flow: one body of water, one body of light, one body of winter. You leave feeling whole and ready, anchored in your power, with direction for what you want to grow in spring.

Questions

PAST RETREATS

“After a season of deep personal grief, the Spirit Luminosity series was a powerful callback to life. Paige’s skilled, layered, and empathetic approach created a beautiful, safe space to re-emerge, even in a virtual format. Sign me up again and again!”
— Karen Campbell, Spirit Luminosity participant
“These rituals have been amazingly efficacious for me—grounding and calming. For example during the final ritual, thinking about a special sort of landscape reminded me of a poem I wrote a very long time ago, when my view of things was changing in some pretty concentrated ways. What I thought about that evening was a widening out, imagining a place that didn’t have to be enclosed any more—a very lovely thing to do. Though it seems less and less possible in today’s shrinking and quaking world, it is something we must try to accomplish, to counter the present day’s anger, confusion and fear with centered caring and appreciation for all the good there is in the world.”
— Victoria Brown, Cloud Ghost Participant
“This ritual series offered me a space and time to slow down and tend to my whole self, and I have felt healthier and more grounded in my mind and body than I have felt in a long time”
— Laura P., Unshakable Determination participant
“Paige’s Summer retreat is a salve for the soul. A moment to slow the pace, turn inward and connect the body and heart with the healing energies of the cosmos while she weaves her Chinese medicine wisdom and physical body care into a tapestry of practical rituals to take into the week.”
— Mary Beth Anthony, Spirit Luminosity participant
